Join the Nevada Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics for our Legislative Day on April 26th! 
What is Legislative Day?

• Time set aside by congressional offices to speak to voters on issues that matter to them AND speak to those who are subject matter experts in that area. 

Why is it important?

• This is our opportunity to voice support for legislation that impacts areas of nutrition and public health (MNT reimbursement, food insecurity and food assistance, obesity treatment, and dietitian licensure). 
• This allows congressional offices to determine support for bills and strengthens the likelihood congress will pass bills that strengthen nutrition and public health policy.

Where do I go to participate?

• This year the day will be virtual, so you can join from work or home and make your voice heard regardless of whether or not you can attend the conference.

How do I join in?

• Complete the Google forms survey to express interest in which sessions you wish to attend (your specific representatives for your area vs all sessions) 
• ​Provide your contact info so we can send you the links to join the April 26th sessions!
