As of June 2012, Governor Sandoval signed our bill into law and it is official. Dietitians in the state of Nevada have the privilage to become a licensed nutritionist. With the focus on preventative care and to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens in the State of Nevada, as well as defining scope of practice for dietitians this bill identifies dietitians as those that have the "skill, expertise and knowledge" to do the job.
